An animal remembers all of its past lives in a human shaped world. As a horse it knows it will die in the desert. As a tarantuala it remembers its disgust of human hands. As a crane it wonders which body it will be born into next.
Time flows through a living and dying being.
What if an animal's body is temporary, but its memories become infinite?

"Mi cuerpo es un animal" was assembled from documentary archive material, provided by friends and colleagues. Revisited and repurposed footage forms new pan-species narratives.
Mexican musician, performance artist and actress Natalia Gómez, also known as ANAN, contributes the narration, vocal sound design and music to the film.
